Toby Sausage

How many humans/siblings do you have and long have you had them?
I live with three Humans; there's my chief Human and then HuGrandad and HuGrandma. I've been with them since January 10th this year, so nearly 6 months. HuGrandad says it feels like 6 years sometimes!

Do you work? If so where/what do you do?
I don't work but am instead a sausage of leisure. I have been assisting the chief Human with her Open University degree. I'm very good at 'filing' paper.

If you could choose your name what would it be?
If I could choose my own name it would be Norbert. That was Human's original choice of name for me but she was overruled.

What is your favourite food?
I'm quite a health conscious sausage and I follow in the footsteps of my heroes, the Minions, by being rather partial to apples (bapples) and bananas (ba-an-naaaaa!)

Where is your favourite place to be?
My favourite place to be is curled up next to my Human.

What is your favourite way to entertain yourself (annoy your humans)?
My favourite way to entertain myself is playing with my small squeaky Kong ball. I love pushing it under the sofa and making the humans retrieve it for me.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment so far is learning a trick for my puppy class. I learnt to shake paws.

What is your next goal in life?
My next goal in life is to learn how to ring a bell like my friend Edith to alert the humans to the fact that I need to go out.

If you could be/do anything for a day, what would it be?
If I could do anything for a day it would be to meet up with all my friends from the #SausageArmy (a group on Twitter!) for a fabulous walk filled with fun and adventure.

Finally and most importantly...What was your human’s most embarrassing moment?
I seem to be behind most of Human's embarrassing moments these days. It is usually down to my curiosity (she says nosiness) and the fact that I love to stand and stare at people. The worst (or best in my opinion) was when we had just started off on our walk and came across a group of people standing outside a house that was for sale. I parked myself on the opposite side of the road and stared...and stared...and stared. I was offered treats by Human but I was not going to move until the estate agent and the potential buyers acknowledged me. In the end, the man who was looking around said "I think we had better come and say hello or you'll be there all day!" They came and made a fuss of me but, when they walked away, I cried! By this time Human was bright red!
