Dora

Tell me a little bit about yourself.

I'm a four year old Yorkie-cross found wandering the streets of Birmingham when only six months old. My forever home is now with Malcolm Welshman, a retired vet and author.

What and when was your ‘big break’ moment?
I was 'talent' spotted by National Geographic for an international TV series called Leader of the Pack, hosted by the US dog whisperer, Cesar Millan. It meant being flown out to Madrid to be filmed and introduced to three families who were to be judged as to their suitability to have me as their furpal.

What is your most bizarre moment?
Being nose to nose with a badger cub that had been trying to hide in a rabbit hole, but got stuck in it.

What is your favourite food?
Cheese, definitely cheese.

Where is your favourite place to be?
Standing on the arm of a chair looking out of the window down the lawn to where rabbits congregate every evening.

What is your favourite way to entertain yourself (annoy your humans)?
Race down the corridor to the back door in the hope of a walk every time Bossman is about to go out. I can even bounce and bark on the spot to annoy him even more.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
Carrying in a dead very large, very smelly rabbit and depositing it on the settee.

What is your next goal in life?
Bringing in an even larger, even more smelly rabbit and dumping it on Bossman's bed.

If you could be/do anything for a day, what would it be?
Be invited for tea with the Queen's corgis. Always fancied sniffing a royal ankle.

Finally and most importantly...What was your human’s most embarrassing moment?
When Bossman dressed up in a white rabbit onesie and hopped around the town precinct to raise 'a few bucks' for charity and give some publicity to his latest book, Pets Aplenty.
