About:
Pretty Corner Café & Tea Gardens in Upper Sheringham in North Norfolk was first established in 1926, originating as a wooden pavilion. Over the years it has been transformed into the popular café and tea garden that it is today, welcoming walkers, cyclists, motorists, children and dogs.

Pretty Corner Café & Tea Gardens offers outdoor seating on the patio and in the garden. During more inclement weather, you can cosy-up indoors beside the wood burning stove. Works of art by talented local artists are on display and for sale in the Tea Room as well as home-made jam, marmalade and chutney.

Walkers and dogs can enjoy the many trails available through the woodland area surrounding the Tea Gardens. Children can enjoy looking for fish, frogs and other pond life in our small nature-friendly pond and checking-out the cute Pekin Bantams!

Our menu offers home made soups, light lunches, daily specials, a selection of home-made desserts, cakes and scones for afternoon cream teas, plus a selection of hot and cold drinks. The food is served fresh, locally sourced when available and prepared daily. The menu provides a good choice for vegetarians and children.

Pretty Corner Café & Tea Gardens is situated only five minutes drive from Sheringham town, the beach and the local steam railway, the Poppy Line, which runs from Sheringham to Holt.

Review: Olly Pup
We stopped for a wee break at Pretty Corner this weekend.

We were going to go for a woodland walk, but a little way in, the humans saw a sign for "Tea Room" and that was that. Which was a shame because Pretty Corner Woods looked very promising. We also didn't  see much of the Tea Gardens either, but the humans were making positive sounding noses at what they could see.

So! The Cafe…
We sat at a table on the patio under an umbrella, which gave us lovely shade. The humans did feel a bit bad for not carrying a blanket for us to lie on.

Water was available from an outside tap for us to drink from and the staff were lovely. Also agile and good humoured, they didn't trip over Freddy despite his best efforts.

The humans ordered food and drinks for themselves. Sandwiches and a jacket potato with salads. My brothers and I are happy to report that the food was tasty. So was whatever the man at the table next to us had. He didn't want it to go to waste so Freddy and I ate it.

We will be going back this summer and we hope to do the woods and gardens as well. Ally wants to do the sea view walk, we want to do the food walk.
