Y’alright ducks?
Let me introduce myself.
My name is Droopy’s Highlite, or to my friends I am Lionel. I am a rather dashing black greyhound.
I am fully vaccinated and had my dangly bits stolen by the veterinary surgeon as I slept. How rude!
Age:
I was born in May 2020 and I am now ready to retire and look for a home that would suit my needs. In fact if I am lucky, you can get to buy me a pawsome cake for my 4th Birthday.
Child friendly:
I would need to live in a home that does not have smaller children. Basically they are too fast and loud for me and I expect my retirement to be scheduled with loads and loads of uninterrupted naps.
Other dogs:
As I am newly retired, all of this socialising thing is quite new to me and I have not decided if I want to be a sharer yet. So I have to officially say I an under assessment still.
I am currently sharing my accommodation with a friendly and bouncy female.
Pet friendly:
I definitely would not want any live furry toys to play with. It would not be fair for them or me. Not to mention the constant stress on the humans that would have to keep us well away from each other.
Personality:
Hey, what can I say. I am a dream and anyone would be lucky to have me. BOL!
I can be a bit bouncy, well a lot bouncy, especially if there is a ball to played with or I spot a squizzer! So if possible I wold like one or two (or several) balls to play with. Tennis, football, whatever I would be happy with any.
I am getting used to being walked on a harness, which is fun for the human walking me.
On setting off on a walk I can be bit over excited, so hang on tight to the lead, you are in for a bumpy start. I do calm down once on the walk, it is just at the start.
I have recently been introduced to adventures to the local park, cafes and social gatherings at the Home Run Hound monthly walks. It would be nice to continue to enjoy these experiences, especially the cafes!
