Bug Bakes Food Launch

They are launching a nutritious, cold pressed eco food for your dog! 
Bug Bakes, a Scottish business, is placing their paw print into reducing environmental impact of pet food and treats.

Ross Lomand, the founder of Bug Bakes launched his company after learning how much negative impact traditional livestock farming was having on the environment.

As a small business he took to markets and events to sell and raise awareness of his treats. This was a slow process and exposure of his brand was slow.

Ross had his big, or should that be, bug break when he was invited to go on Dragons Den.

He managed to get an offer from Touker Suleyman.
Unfortunately after the show, the offer never happened as they could not agree with the business’s future direction.

Ross was not deterred. He carried on and managed to launch his Bug Bake Treats.

The treats are cold pressed and compatible with both raw and non raw fed dogs.
November marks another special date in his calendar.
On the 2nd of November to be exact. Bug Bakes will launch a nutritious, cold pressed eco food for your dog!

Their food will use sustainable insects protein, nutritious fruits and vegetables, while using 100% plastic free packaging. 

At launch Bug Bakes will have two varieties of food which are both suitable for all breeds of adult dog.

As well as insect protein, they will be using fruits and veggies that are not only super healthy, but sourced sustainably too.
These foods will be cold pressed, meaning they can be fed dry or wet - simply add water for the latter. 
The packaging will be plant based fully compostable 2.5kg bags. No plastics or 'bio-plastics'.
