Tigger's Tails - October 2022

Hi Pals,
Well September has definitely been a real rollercoaster of emotions. You could say it was good, bad and ridiculous !

First of all there was the North East Dog Festival in Northumberland. Which also meant our pals were up here for the weekend too.

I stayed at home with my other human for the two days during the event where my human and pals stood in a field meeting some pawsome customers, both old and new.

We both got to spend time with our pals and I also got lots of cuddles too. BOL!

When not at the event we had time to spend relaxing together. With my human driving, which is an adventure in itself, we give them quick tours of some of the local sights and places I walk my human around here. Including a walk on the beach followed up with fish n chips. Yum!

Then came the surprising low of the month. There was sad news that Queen Elizabeth II had passed away.

Now I know not everyone is for the Royal Family, but even those that were not really fans were quite shocked and upset of the news even though she was 96 years old, and had reigned for 70 years. Some were liking it to losing their own family member or reminding them of losing their grandparents. I have to admit my human was a bit of a wreck for a few days., well a total wreck to be honest.

We watched the pageantry and events that followed and strange rituals that needed to be done, not to mention the strange and very heavy looking uniforms. Everything was televised up to and including the funeral. Reports say up to 4 billion people watched on television, however no one can give an accurate global figure.

It is a strange new world as the one constant is no longer there. Regardless to being for or against the Queen, it is amazing the dedication to her role and the things she achieved really were amazing!
Thank you for your service.

Finally we get to the ridiculous part of September.

My human tries to vary my diet by changing the flavour of my kibble each time.
However due to them not paying attention in the store. They just grabbed a bag without looking at it too closely. Thankfully it was the correct brand, it just happened to be for tiny dogs! Each bit if kibble was tiny!
So instead of happily grabbing a few chunks of kibble in my mouth and taking into the sitting room to lie down and relax with, I ended up with my very own version of hungry, hungry hippo!
Honestly you cannot get the staff around here BOL!

Until next month
Nose bump to you
