Tigger's Tails - November 2022

Hi Pals,
I had a pawsome month.

The Podencos In the North East group invited me along to one of their meet ups. As it was at National Trust’s Wallington site, which is an on lead only site, I was happy to go along to meet everyone.

We actually arrived in time despite my human’s terrible sense of direction. Although we were not sure where to actually meet up, we did hear the welcome committee. BOL!

Podencos are a friendly bunch and although I have never met any of the members before I was warmly sniffed and greeted like an old friend.

Podencos are a totally different energy group to walk in. They take a route march to the next level. They not only do a lot of sniffing during the walk, but they are also able to do it at full pace and barely without skipping a step. They take the changes to terrain in their stride and barely blink an eye when crossing bridges or stepping stones to cross a river.

I enjoyed the pace, apart from my impression of a crouching lurcher when crossing the wooden bridge, and the ultimate shame of having my human rescue me by lifting me up and carrying me across the stepping stones. BOL!

Thanks Pals. I look forward to joining in another of your meet ups.

In other pawsome news.
After Repawter Skye sadly crossed the Rainbow Bridge, her brother Sparky will put his paw in and become Tigger Club News latest repawter.
Welcome Sparky.

Nose bump to you
