Tess in the kitchen
Pear and Banana Oaties - makes 20 bisquits

Note from Tess:
Our kitchen is resembling a fruit shop!  Mum had lots of ninny-nannas and pears, and there is only so much banana bread she can stomach!  So, again I was tasked with using up the glut!  BOL!  Sadly, Mum said the oaties smell wonderful and maybe her and Dad could share one of my treats!  My treats, not parent treats, Hurrmph!

Ingredients:
250g ground oats
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
3 tbsp molasses
2 ripe medium/large pears
2 ripe bananas

Method:
1 Heat oven to 180 and line two baking sheets with baking paper.

2 Core and peel pear.  Puree the pear with the banana and molasses.

3 Mix the oats, ginger and cinnamon together in a bowl.  Add the puree mix and stir well until mixed.

4 Using an ice-cream scoop, scoop balls of the mixture onto the baking sheets.  Flatten the oaties with a fork.

5 Bake for 15 - 18 minutes.  Once golden, remove from the oven and leave the oaties to cool on the tray for 10 minutes.

6 Move the oaties to a wire rack to cool completely..

Storage:
Store in the fridge and these will keep for about 10 days. .
