Rudolph's Nose Cakes - makes 15
Notes from Tess:
Woof! Woof! Woof! Merry Christmas!
I decided to make some seasonal cakes for Rudolph! I hope Rudolph likes them when he stops by and I will tell him I made them just for him! That should get me on the 'good list'. Mum said "hopefully Santa wasn't looking when I stole one of the cherries from the cakes before they were cooked! BOL! Ooopsy!
Ingredients:
320g plain flour
2 medium eggs
240g carrot puree (we used baby food)
8 cherries
Method:
1 Preheat oven to 180 fan and cover two baking sheets with baking paper.
2 Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
3 Using an ice-cream scoop (one with a lever that pushes the ice-cream out), place spoonfulls on the trays.
4 Cut the cherries in half and place in the middle of the cakes.
5 Bake for 18 -20 minutes until the noses are golden brown.
6 Leave to cool completely.
Storage:
Store in an airtight container (they will keep for approx 4 days or can be frozen).
