Mackerel Pate
Notes from Tess and Rufus:
We have a lovely summer snack recipe, and it is safe for humans to eat! Though they might not like it mixed in with kibble! BOL! We had our pate on top of a peanut butter bisquit and it was delicious. Later on we had some of the pate mixed in with our kibble, so the pate goes with anything.
Ingredients:
2 Mackerel fillets - approx 150g
150g 0% fat green yoghurt
Method:
1. If the mackerel still has the skin attached remove it. With a fork in your two front paws (or ask one of your humans to do this) shred the mackerel so no big bits are left.
2. In a bowl mix the mackerel and the yoghurt together.
3. That is it ready to eat!
Storage:
The pate will keep for 3 days in the fridge in a sealed container.
