Duke visits the illuminated walk at Chatsworth House

Repawter: Duke

Hi Pals,
A lot of you know I'm a big fan of Chatsworth house in Derbyshire.
From 6th November the 9th of January you can do an Festive illuminated walk in the garden.

So Saturday 20th November I went with my girlfriend Luna and hoomans. You can visit the gardens during the day but after 3pm you aren't allowed out of the garden other than to go home.

Our ticket was 3.45 just as it was going dark. There is a massive lit up bauble.

The orangery shop is open and hoodad got a new wallet as his is broken. He can't lose any of my money I have treats to buy.

You walk along the main path and they have lit up the house walls and the hedge.

My favourite was the musical discs they work with doggy paws as well as hooman feet. As we were walking round it was getting darker. Star and I had our flashing collars on and hoodad said if he was playing a drinking game he would be very drunk. 2 fingers of drink everytime someone said look at those dogs collars? Look at those? If you go wear a flashy collar and light and see how many comments you get? (12 hoodad)

There are many other things lit up such as trees, sculptures, fountain, rocks, paths. Just before leaving I had one more photo by the cascade water.

My hoomans went last year and this year is better. The paths are all firm so accesible by wheelchair. More information can be found at:

but don't forget to pre book!

Until next time
Love and licks
Duke xx
