The Capers of Cilla
- December 2025
Hola my friends.
This month it's been my first gotcha celebration, I can't believe I've been capering in my home for a whole year already. Elaine says it's been a very long year of training but I think it's been super fun and I have decided that I am fully settled now. Es mi casa! It has taken me a long time to decide that I completely adore my new family as I started off slowly.
As a pup I was dumped with some others in a cage at the side of the road near Malaga, Spain We were locked in without food or water and it took a while for someone to find us. So much so that by then I had lost part of my nose from trying to escape and had a nasty infection. After this I didn't really trust people, in fact I was terrified. With mucho love and help from Elaine I have grown to like quite a few people. The lady that gives me treats at the cafe each morning, the family who visit the island a lot and of course Elaine and himself. I call him Big Dog and he's the bestest fun ever (he let's me on the bed). Bed is cama to us Spanish hounds and I bark 'cama, cama, cama' whilst spinning and rearranging the pillows. This is allowed everywhere in the UK no?! I think if I were allowed on the big bed more I would be even more waggy. Right off to barge the bedroom door in capering hope.
Los barkos Cills xx
Good capers: Jumping on the beds, eating the stairs carpet, drinking from Elaine's glass.
Bad capers: No dogs on beds rules, the vets, bin lorries.
