Tell me a little bit about yourself.
I am a 8 year old merle pure cockapoo, my muma was a lovely spaniel and my dad was a tiny poodle. My favourite thing is to dig but only when out at the fields. I love having cuddles with my owners and ive trained them that if I nudge there hand yep keep stroking me and don’t stop
Do you work? If so where/what do you do?
I am a home owner trained assistance dog. Basically it means I get to help someone super special to me in my home. This special human struggles with mental health. I provide comfort, support and interrupt Tourette’s outbreaks and interrupt ocd routines and help with anxiety attacks.
What is your favourite type of music?
I prefer the soft slow kind genre. I’m more about the classic FM it helps me relax, I do love drifting off to sleep with it lullabying me in the background
If you could choose your name what would it be?
Snoopy is my name however my muma calls my hannnnnnndsome when she says that in the morning to me in her silly baby voice it makes me go giddy. I think I would love Hannnnnndsome.
What is your favourite food?
Freshly home made liver cake whoop whoop however I do love primula……drool! Sometimes I get cheeky and when licking from the tube crunch my teeths around the tube and get extra
Have you taught your humans any tricks?
I have taught my human sign language so they can ask for things without saying just using hand signals. I have also taught them to kiss and other little party tricks (like pray) but im most proud of how I get them to stroke me lots
What is your favourite way to entertain yourself (annoy your humans)?
My humans never get annoyed with me however I do love finding gross things out on our adventures. Cause they let me do this stuff when they recall me I do come back and leave the yuckness behind
What is your greatest accomplishment?
Winning child best friend and then winning overall I also once won best trick and then again best of all. I love winning but most all of my biggest accomplishment is to help my human feel safe and build her confidence up and know that the world doesn’t have to seem so scary
What is your next goal in life?
My goal is to keep loving my humans as much as they love me.
If you could be/do anything for a day, what would it be?
I looooooooooooove the beach especially when the tide is out. Running free and digging in the sand. I love having the breeze in my fur my ears flapping high as im leaping around.
Finally and most importantly... What was your human’s most embarrassing moment?
Oooh this is a good one, on an adventure/ day off I found some dirty and I mean very dirty/messy silk knickers. Not only did I run around with them in my mouth but I was throwing and catching them like it was the best treasure ever. My mum was doing this funny sound like she was gonna be sick but I loved it the smell was sooo bad but it was so good if you know what I mean. Then another lady walking down the lane saw us so I paraded them knick knocks like you know you want them but they is all mine! I carried them all the way back to the car. I didn’t want my bed getting dirty so I decided to give them up and muma put them in a bag and got rid of them.
