It's summer!
Well it should be hey, but so far August has been a bit damp and cold on the south coast. I've barely been to the beach pals. I did go on a trip last night though, all the way up the motorway to Kingston Upon Thames in London. I obviously, wanted to visit the King in town but we stayed local instead! It was very jolly. The local pub was super doggy friendly and I had a mooch around the streets and looked at boats on the river. And you know what, it was hot. So hot that I slept all night on my back happily waving my paws in the window draught. That's one summer's evening at least!

Back in Brighton today I met up with my old pal Koopa, he's not old, in fact a very lively young lab who insisted on licking my chops every few minutes. Being a labrador he was into, literally, everything whilst I pottered about in the wood. There are some lovely woods at the back of Brighton and this one backed onto a surprisingly doggy friendly golf course with cafe. Naturally we went there to find some kids with treats and have a snooze.

This month Tigger kindly made me a new rain mac, it's lightweight, yellow (sensible in dull weather) and has a super camper van lining. I'm super chuffed with it Tigger so sloppy nose bumps to you! We've been laughing that I am Autumn ready in summer, well one has to be prepared....
