Yay Christmas and 2024, where did 2023 go?! But I don't mind because I've made yet another Christmas, this one my fourteenth. Not bad going for an unwanted stray puppy. Well... to be honest I was only unwanted for 4 months until I met Elaine and the rest is shenanigan history!

So my year has been a smashing one starting off with a motorhome trip to Europe and finishing with the family coming for a big slap up Christmas. I've helped wrap presents, and by the time you read this, I will have helped unwrap them too. I love a wrapped present and consider all of those under the tree as mine. I assume that this is normal cat and dog, and maybe even ferret, behaviour?!

I'm very well behaved with the actual (real) Christmas Tree and all the lights though. I have the odd sniff but don't go near it at all. I've heard of canine friends nibbling and feline friends climbing them. Our tree this year was completely over sized as Elaine bought one nearly 8 foot by mistake, it was huge but gorgeous! So much so my bed had to move to the other side of the room away from the radiator much to my disgust. Good job there was lots of Christmas Turkey on order, and pork pie and pigs in blankets.... yay!

I'm very much looking forward to 2024, we have a week booked in Devon and I hope I'll be around still. I have every intension of reaching 15 but it's always a long stretch for a hound.
So I hope everyone has had a happy festive season and sending lots of love and joy for 2024.
