Hello pals,
14 years, yep that's the grand total of time spend in my forever home so far... 14 whole years! I must say I was quite pleased with that as not many rescue hounds enjoy such a long time. I was, of course, rescued as a pup so that does help. In fact Elaine dug out my papers and found a new page that said that I was born in the rescue. It appears that my greyhound mum was rescued in Ireland, while pregnant, and I was born (with 6 others) in the kennel before someone drove us all to Brighton to another rescue. Elaine came to see the litter and 14 years later I'm still ruling the roost and hogging the sofa! Sadly my sister Rosie, who I kept in contact with, died recently so I may just be the last one on my paws.

I posted a photo on twitter, or should I say X, on my gotcha day and received so many super messages. Over 8300 views and lots of love, it reminded me why I'm on it still although it's not a friendly and informative as it used to be. Too many adverts and they're not even for dog treats bol.

I'm naturally hoping to reach my 15 year gotcha day but that will certainly be a feat. Having said that I did go to the vets for my old dog check up last week and was given a big thumbs up for the next 6 months. We'll see hey.

So in the meantime here's my 14th gotcha photo, the official one like a true queen complete with my super happy gotcha scarf from Tigger.

Thanks Tigs and nose bumps to all x
