Duke visits Petworth, West Sussex -part 2
- November 2023

Hi Pals
I have already told you about some of my visit to Petworth National Trust in West Sussex www.nationaltrust.org.uk/visit/sussex/petworth

I was dressed up with my repawtor bandana on.  The house is in a 700 acre deer park but luckily for hoodad they aren’t near the road. The painter John Constable called it “That House of art” as it has one of the finest art collections looked after by the National Trust.

This is the very impressive north gallery. But the hoomans think the previous owners were big hound fans.

The hoomans like the house for all the amazing pictures but for me I would stay outside as it had lots of polished marble floors. But if they put a sofa by the stairs I would have so much to look at.

As well as the house there are the impressive servants quarters and kitchens. As you can see from my previous article the grounds a 1760’s Lancelot Capability Brown landscaping which have footpaths and a walk round the lake.

Until next time
Love and licks
