Duke visits The Snow Dogs
- December 2023

Hi Pals
So Christmas is fast approaching and I went out doing another trial. This time it's Snowdogs in Birmingham. These are the dogs that is the companion for the Snowman story.

I live in Birmingham so the hoomans started my adventure by taking me on a train. Before I left the train station I went to Ozzy the Bull the massive bull that was the star of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony.

There are 10 snowdogs to find the first is Roodle in the arcade opposite the train station. Then leaving the arcade I went up left and into the Frankfurt German market. Having left early it wasn't open yet so it was quiet. The second one by the market was Ru-dog that was cold as it had a jumper on. Further up the hill and onto Centenary Square to Starry Night which Star would have loved as it was covered in stars. This dog is next to the pop up ice skating rink which is covered and the big wheel. Leaving here I went back on myself past hoodads favourite pub The Colmore (Thornbridge the owners being his favourite brewery) to Catherdral Square where I met Elf who I think helps Santa.

Down the road to candy cane in the great western arcade. I didn't like the slippy floor so I had to be coaxed to it. Turning right down Corporation Street to Classic snowdog (the original from the animated film). Into the now busy German market to outside of the Bullring shopping centre to meet Bark the Herald Angels Sing. Hooded had to find the next one the all silver Gizmo as it was in Selfridges non dog friendly

After going down the slope to the Birmingham Markets (Hoomom stopped to get more sewing material) then towards the hippodrome theatre where I met Ginger who looked good enough to eat.

The final one I saw was Sparkle in the Mailbox on the 3rd floor. This meant 2 lifts to go in to reach it. I decided this one deserved a true dog welcome and tried to sniff its butt.

After this I was exhausted so we went back to Dads favourite pub where the bar tender offered me a bowl of water and biscuits before taking the hoomans order. I then crashed out and had a sleep on the floor before waking in time to be fed pizza bones.

It was a long walk but if you have never been to Birmingham it’s a great way to see the dogs as well as seeing the City. (This is my route I found the snow dogs in but you can go any way) - maps of the dogs can be found at the base of the snow dogs.

Have a great Christmas everyone
Love and licks
