Poop bin in car park

Opening Hours:
The Site is open from dawn til dusk each day.
The visitors centre has seasonal opening hours so visit their website for current opening times
www.northumberlandia.com

Entry Charge:
There is no entry charge but there is a donation option.

Parking:
There is plenty of parking here.
The carpark is loose gravel with a few designated disabled spaces
(disabled visitors may need a Radar key to open the gate when there is no staff on duty)
There is even an electric car charge up thingy.

Dog Friendly:
The site and staff are very dog friendly. Dogs must be on lead all of the time.

Facilities:
Once you have parked and enter through the gate, the vistor centre/cafe is immediately on your right.
Both sides of you are a small wooded area where you can walk around with your humans.
Straight ahead is a well maintained natural wide dirt path and it opens up to the large earthworks that is Northumberlandia.
You can walk your human around the site on a even well constructed gravel path (compacted to make it very easy to walk on).
It is about a mile to walk all around the ground level of the site. You can walk over the several paths on Northumberlandia, some have varying degrees of difficulty.
There are some ponds around the base to encourage wildlife so no launching yourself in there.

There is a visitor centre / cafe with a large outside decking area.
There are toilets behind the cafe.
Dogs are allowed inside the visitor centre / cafe, but be reasonable as it is a small area and it may get really busy indoors.

Notes:
This is not a huge site to visit but if you spend the time to wander around and over Northumberlandia you will soon find out you have been there longer than you realised.
The poop bin is in the carpark.
The last time I visited there were some picnic tables and benches dotted around the earthworks base.
They do seem to be trying to add things and try to improve things for visitors.

Time spent there: About 2 hours
Would I visit again?: Yes I would as although it gets a few visitors the site is so spread out (and up) that it never feels over crowded.
Plus I can do different walk routes over the site and get to see different things each time.
