Pet transport
Reviews:0

We love a rescue at Pets 2 Places, being a part of the journey when someone takes on a rescue pet is just so heartwarming it brings a tear to your eyes.
We’ve been there on many occasions when customers have picked up their new pet, travelled the length and breadth of the country in search of the right pet for the right owner.
At Pets 2 Places we offer transport for pets to anywhere within the UK, vets, groomers, kennels, train stations, even on holiday

But still helping an owner collect a rescue pet is still our favourite.
Once when we collected a dog, the dog had tears of joy in their eyes, it was hard to hold back the tears ourselves.
Because we know the importance of having a pet, we take how we transport them very seriously. Every pet gets the VIP treatment

Pet transport is our area of expertise
Here’s 5 top tips on how to transport your dog the right way:
- Always use crash tested transport equipment, whether it’s a dog guard or a harness. Check each product description. Safety tested is not enough. Needs to be crash tested
- Make sure your dog has enough space to stand up and lay down comfortably
- Always ensure you have water on board, not just enough to drink, but a good few liters in case your dog overheats, you can pour room temperature water directly on your dog
- Ensure when you arrive at your destination your dog cant just leap out, you could be near a road, near small children or it just may not be safe. In their excitement a dogs recall may not be what it usually is
- Sticking heads out of windows is a big no no, they can get dirt and debris in their eyes and ears, they could also be hit by any obstructions at the side of the road

Happy travels, and don’t forget if you don’t have your own transport but want to get out and about, why not give us a call and see if we can take you and your dog somewhere new and exciting
