Lucy and Nelson - On the Move
July 2026

Hola Amigos/woof hello Buddies
We are Lucy and Nelson from #ERSRemovals back again and checking in with all our Furry Amigos, what have we been up to since last time you askWoof :Well not much you know normal dog stuff walkies and the likes ,so why did we miss our last Repawt ? Lets blame Ashley he was meant to be doing research on Spanish snakes but no he missed the deadline and also went to the Turre 430 Birthday festival

So we have had to get him to tell us about it instead , don’t worry it still is animal themed as there was a birds of Prey display,

Woof firstly lets add it was not Turre Turning 430 years old nope the town is older than that , history and all that it was something to do with Turre gaining its independence from Mojacar , woof to complex for my k9 mind Nelson but get that Turre is older and it was basically a ruins from the Moor days when they founded the town and then later left and the people of Turre could not make ends meat while paying Mojacar so the king gave them independence and let them be a town in their own right woof not that complex then Lucy ?

Well yes but that's the simple version
anyway to the birds of Prey

Nelson: so Ashley what was your Favourite bird?
That Nelson was the 3 vultures I always love seeing Vultures and seeing them fly from that close was cool as you don’t realise how big or in reverse with some of the owls how small some birds of Prey are.
Do Vultures count as birds of Prey thou as they are scavenger's?

Lucy: how many birds where there then Ashley?
26 by my count and as there was two of the same type of Hawks I made it 25 types of birds
Nelson: where the birds as close as it looked in some of the videos you showed us ?
Yes they were Nelson, many of the times they swooped over my head as they took off or returned to one of the two main handlers, which was cool, and been able to be so close meant you got a real feeling for the power, the size and agility of the various birds of Prey present

Lucy: did you see any cool things the birds did you didn’t get on camera?
Yes i Did Lucy , take the Hawks (think they wherehawks ) they were so fast they were hard to film but where cool , one of the birds of Prey also chased one of the handlers along the wall

Lucy: sounds scary
not really Lucy as the handler did it as part the show not the bird misbehaving

Thou Lucy and Nelson at the end Turre nearly Gained a new bird resident when then Big vulture briefly flow away
Lucy: wonder what the local Kestrels would have made of that ?
Well Lucy no idea but there are wild Vultures that live in Spain , plus other cool birds did you know Spain is home to Flamingos ?
Nelson: sure is , the inland well inland from the see , Lake near Vera has Flamingos then you have famous lakes in other areas of Spain to with Flamingos, thou The ones in Vera are not pink as the lake there has not the shrimp they feed on that makes them pink
