News from Dusty's Diary
September 2018

Hi folks,
This month, I travelled all the way down to the other end of the country for a short break. After a seven hour journey (I would recommend York services for their walkies provision, lots of bunnies) we arrived to stay with some people who have a field of a garden...and best of all, resident squizzers! And the humans said I could chase them all I wanted cos they keep eating the walnuts from their tree!

Well, I was up at the crack of dawn every day, and chased the blighters into the hedge several times, but they always managed to escape. When I wasn't entertaining myself chasing things, the human took me on some long beach walkies, where I rediscovered a delicacy of this area, extra stinky black sea mud. If you haven't experienced this, it is second to nothing to wade belly deep in, and then to zoom over and rub yourself all over any humans who haven't run away fast enough! Although I thought I smelt heavenly, and had accessorised with some clumps of sand, I was attacked with the hose on arrival at the house, or should I say garden, as I was banned the house!

Then, on the last day of my stay, I did my usual trick of finding a far flung piece of grass to do my business, and uncovered a huge adder. I wasn't bothered, but the human uttered some odd words and backed off rather quickly when she went over with a poo bag!

Until next time.
Have a pawsome month
