Hey pals,

This month's roving took me 180 miles north east to sunny Hunstanton in Norfolk.

We've been many times before to visit family but it's always nice to return as the town barely changes.
Continuity is something very reassuring to us hounds, be it, beds, beaches or buildings!

Hunstanton's beach is sandy and the tide goes out for miles. The town faces west across the Wash making it one of the few places on the east coast where the sun sets over the sea.
It still throws the humans after all these years. I was too busy whinging for my ball of course.
Anyway, the night we arrived was an unusually high tide battering the prom so we walked inland to the pub.
Purely for research purposes I visited three dog friendly pubs, The Wash and Hope, Waterside and Marine Bar.
The first was my favourite being uber friendly but the later two had carpets.

All had dog bowls which is a pleasing sign!

In the day I visited the Queen's estate at Sandringham.
No corgis in sight but a varied amount of dogs having a glorious time in the grounds.

Us dogs are not allowed in the main gardens or house (understandably) but I can vouch for the ice cream being delicious.

Another dog friendly adventure one could have is called the Wash Monster.
It's a big amphibious vehicle that drives out to see seals.

I so wanted to go but it was too hot (I know, a rare hot bank holiday!)

So next time it is as I will definitely be back to sunny Hunny.

Doz back at home x
