Apple Paw Puffs

Note from Fred & Tess:
We thought our baking needed some fine tuning on the presentation, so we ordered some doggy cutters
(sorry for using your bank card Mum! BOL!).

Apple Paw Puffs

Ingredients:
240g white flour
60g applesauce (sugar free especially for spaniels, we are hyper enough! BOL!)
60ml vegetable oil
180ml water
30ml honey
1 egg
1/2 tbsp of ground ginger
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

Method:
1. Preheat oven at 180 fan.
2. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. Knead the dough on a floured surface and then roll out the dough to 1/2 inch thickness.
3. Using our brand new paw cutters, cut shapes and place the shapes on a baking sheet 1 inch apart.
4. Bake for 10 minutes then turn the oven off and leave the puffs in the oven for 1 hour to harden.

Storage:
These will keep for two weeks in a sealed tub in the fridge or freeze for future use (though defrost them first, BOL!).
We don’t know how long they keep fresh as they don't last long before they are down the bone shoot!
