Swipe

Tell me about yourself:
My name is Swipe and I am a stripey lurcher just like you. I am almost three years old and I am from Wales originally. I was born in a yard and lived there with my litter mates unit I was about 18 weeks old. I travelled all the way to Northumberland very late on New Years Eve 2013 along with my litter brother Olly. Originally I was a foster puppy but nobody suitable offered me a home so my foster Mum said I had to stay. So here I am.

How many humans/siblings do you have and long have you had them?
I live with my three humans and my two whippet siblings, Rifle and Rosie (the bossy one!). Rifle is almost 11 and Rosie is 7. Mum thinks she is in charge but mostly it's Rosie, she's very small but very cross sometimes (although I like making her cross so she chases me round the garden)

Do you work? If so where/what do you do?
I don't go to work because Mum has to help Grandpa. I would like to help but Mum says he doesn't need to be tripped up and end up with a broken hip!

If you could choose your name what would it be?
I have a very long name I was given as a puppy, Lord Swipelington von Tripelington of Ellington, but I will settle for Swipe, I'm good at swiping particularly if food is left out in the kitchen!

What is your favourite food?
My favourite food has to be sausage, or maybe chicken......

Where is your favourite place to be?
My favourite place is Norbreck where I can meet other dogs and 'roo' at Ange. I like the beach too though. It's hard choosing one favourite!

What is your favourite way to entertain yourself (annoy) with your humans?
My favourite way to entertain myself is to do big zoomies and pretend I am deaf when the humans call me.

What is your greatest accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment was getting myself adopted.

What is your next goal in life?
My next goal in life is to learn how to open the fridge (only to save the humans having to get the sausage out you understand).

If you could be/do anything for a day, what would it be?
If I could do anything for a day it would be zoomies/sleeping/eating, not necessarily in that order.

Finally and most importantly...What was your human’s most embarrassing moment?

My human's most embarrassing moment was when a black Labrador appeared round the corner and I got a shock so I barked and jumped forward. Mum tripped over Rosie whippet and fell on the pavement! The Labrador was so well behaved and carried on with his owner, Mum said she was mortified!
