Step back in time and experience an authentic weekend of medieval entertainment in the grounds of Scotland’s Oldest Inhabited House. With spectacular jousting down the main avenue, falconry displays, armed combat with knights in armour, living history demonstrations, have-a-go archery, craft demonstrations, jesters, early music and much more, this is truly an event for young and old!

Dogs welcome on leads but please be aware this is a noisy event with battles, a canon and jousting – so not for your nervous pooch!

Notes:
Unfortunately the house is not fully accessible by wheelchairs but a 15 minute (approx.) video of the history of the family and a tour of the site.
The grounds are tarmac, maintained lawns and the woodland walk is in the process of being fully wheelchair accessible.
