This charming wooden shepherd’s hut is situated next door to the owner’s home, just 1 mile from Britain’s favourite tourist destination of Hadrian’s Wall. Set on the edge of the town of Haltwhistle, this lovely setting is ideal for a couple looking for a romantic break away or friends or family members to enjoy a get together.The hut has four steps up to the stable door which can be left half open to let in the sunshine and fresh air.The interior has been well thought out to provide all you need for a countryside break with comfortable seating and a warming woodburner.There is also little kitchenette, dining table and folding chairs and a lovely shower room.What could be nicer after a long days sightseeing than lighting your own cute woodburner, pouring your favourite tipple and curling up in your own cosy Shepherd’s Hut.Outside there is a small decked area with chairs overlooking the shared garden where you can relax and breathe in the fresh countryside air.A short drive from your hut will take you to Hadrians Wall or why not pop along to Haltwhistle for a bite to eat and a pint.In an excellent location for heading East to the Heritage coast or West to the Lakes, this Shepherd’s Hut is the perfect destination for that long awaited rural break.
