Note:
Lindisfarne is on a tidal causeway which cuts the island off from the mainland twice a day.
Please make sure you are aware of safe crossing times. The tide comes in very quickly. 

About:

Visit the Priory ruins and the museum to learn about the monks, St Cuthbert and the Viking raiders, (only service dogs allowed inside museum) 

Facilities:
There are no facilities at the priory, but as the whole island is only 3 miles by 1.5 miles, everything is available within the island village
Parking is available as soon as you get onto the island. It is a pay and display for all day parking.
Do not drive throughout the island as there are very few roads and most are tracks or very narrow.

Dog Access:
Dogs are allowed on the island, however care must be taken to protect livestock and wildlife that inhabit the island 

Accessibility:
Five steps into the priory
Throughout the island there are well maintained paths however there may be steeper slopes in places.
