Hi Furriends!
We hope everyone had/has a pawtastic Holidays and New Year!

Hopefully there weren’t a lot of fireworks and other stupid noises for any of you! Those noises are terrible. Starting a new year isn’t that great…all humans do is complain about it within a month!

The weather (again) has been so goofy here! The only way we can tell is by if the outside critters come around at night or not. We notice the raccoonies don’t come around if it’s too cold. But, the skunk and the opossums will usually come around no matter what.

They probably figure that they’ll actually get more food since those fat, greedy raccoons aren’t around to hog everything. They are such piggies, and will eat every tiny piece of anything! So the outside critters are our thermometers (since we can’t read).

The squirrels and birds have been a lot of entertainment lately. They must be confused by the weather too because they’re out more than usual. We even saw a baby squirrel (aww). We’ve even caught Momma watching the critters. She must be bored too.

We have lots of goals for this year! Some of you might have the same ones…sleep more, nap more, lay on the human more (she is very comfy). We don’t need more treats. We do, but we’re not going to get more…so why even hope. Momma is so stingy with them treats!

Carlito has a new toy to add to his collection…a green bean! It’s not a real one. This one has catnip in it. He’s slowly building up a repertoire of favorite toys. Hopefully he grows a fine collection one day….and its full of things that aren’t real “cat toys” (MOL).

We hope everypawdy has a fun new year, and everypawdy’s humans have a good new year with lots of good things!
