Hi Pals!
Happy August! OMC! The year is more than half way over! It doesn’t matter to us…we can’t tell time!

We just have heard the human say that a bit lately. That means it’s closer to Meowy Catmas for us. And for us to get nothing (just like for our birthdays). We’ll get some holiday turkey morsels, and that’s about it (because it’s not too healthy). It’s still hotsy totsy here! No windows open. No fresh air zoomies for us. We’re just prisoners in all these walls. Stetson (the orange kitty that visits) is the only one with freedom anymore. We just wallow in here in the heat and humidity because Mom is too cheap to turn the air conditioning on a comfortable temperature. At least she is suffering along with us, we suppose. That’s the only pleasure we have in it all…her suffering along with us.

The birdie population has been doing very well around here. Mom likes to feed them, and we like to try to catch them. One day that glass and that screen won’t be in the way! Those birdies will be sorry.
We are stealthy hunters (if you throw the prey in front of our faces).

We haven’t seen too many squirrelies recently. They must be hiding from the heat too. Who can blame them?!? So even though we love stalking the birdies, it does get a little boring sometimes watching the same meals…umm, critters over and over again. It’s like they don’t even think about us (how very inconsiderate)! We’re always considerate and thinking about those outdoor critters…all the time. Only the little ones. Not the ones that are bigger than us, just to let you know.
