Books, outdoor journals, sofas, good music, great staff & a cool vibe.
Hillbillies, on site, is our very own indie bookstore with our unique hand chosen range of titles from mountaineering, to cycling, walking & adventure to travel literature, classics, hard to find & banned titles, nature, LOCAL MAPS & GUIDES, and a huge AND UNIQUE FICTION offer.

we managed our first hodilay of the year to Gairloch recently.
Gairloch is on the NC500 - and it’s a pretty pawsome place for dog friendly cafés.

The next coffee stop on our list was The Mountain Coffee Company in Gairloch.
Dogs are pawmitted inside, there’s also a seating area in the conservatory with views of the bay and an outdoor seating area.
For humans they do soups, bagels with a number of vegan options and according to mum a very delicious vegan cheesecake. But sadly, again no dog treats offered.
