Tess and Rufus in the kitchen

Rufus was diagnosed with lymphoma and Mum & Dad have been supplementing his food with cancer fighting dog friendly foods. We thought we would share what they foods are and also when we have used them in a Tigger recipe. Rufus is getting palliative care so we have been spoiling him.
Broccoli - full of fiber, calcium, potassium, protein, beta-carotene, and vitamin C, as well as vitamins A and D.
Blueberries & Blackberries - great source of antioxidants.

December 22 - Turkey & Blueberry loaf,
June 23 - Banana, Blueberry & Peanut Butter Pupcakes.
Sweet potatoes contain carotenoids, beta-carotene. B6, C, E, and D.
January 20- Sweet Potato Crisps.
Pumpkins - rich in beta-carotene, which is converts into Vitamin A (an antioxidant).

November 22 - Pumpkin, Sweetcorn & Turkey Pawserole,
November 23 - Pumpkin & Carrot Bites.
Beetroot - rich in folic acid, potassium, and beta-carotene.
Fish & Fish Oil - sardines, salmon, cod, and mackerel have vitamins B2 & D. Also. minerals like calcium, phosphorus, iron, zinc, iodine, magnesium, and potassium, & omega-3 fatty acids.
