Hash
We are being 'continental' this month! BOL! I made Hash and the name comes from the French word 'hacher' which means 'to chop'. Though I persuaded Mum to do the chopping, well is that not what a 'sous chef' is for! BOL!
Ingredients:
250g turkey mince
1 potato - peeled, cooked and coarsely chopped
1 small courgette, coarsely chopped
1 apple--peeled, cored and coarsely chopped
1 carrot, chopped
1tbsp chopped parsley
Method:
1 In a frying pan heat a little oil. Add the mince (don't forget to break it up) and cook for 5 minutes until it is cooked.
2 Stir in the potato, courgette, apple, carrot and parsley and cook for 5 minutes. Make sure to mix it all well together.
3 Let it cool before serving.
Storage:
The hash can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 day. It can also be frozen
