Tigger's Tails
- September  2023

Hi Pals,
Last month I had a really exciting thing happen to me.

I was visiting one of the sites that I regularly visit with my human. IT was National Trust’s Seaton Delaval Hall.

We arrived as normal and as we entered the visitor building to show my human’s membership card, the staff there greeted me with a cheery “Hello Tigger” ! Woo hoo! Not only did they greet me and not my human, but they also knew my name!
This almost nearly famous status is starting to get me noticed. BOL! I felt like I was on top of the world and was basking in the attention as Staff greeted me by name.
It was at this point that reality caught up and my moment of celebrity status started to resemble a balloon with a slow puncture.
Unknown to myself, as I was getting all of the attention, my human was fumbling around getting their membership card out to show staff. When the unimaginable happened!
I mean, really? Even handing over that tatty looking card, that they were given several years ago and have never got around to throwing it away, would have been better, but no. They have to hand over their English Heritage card.
Oh my dogness, the shame!
Don’t get me wrong, I am quite happy my human is a member of both English Heritage and National Trust as we get to explore a lot more sites.
They had one job...and even then, they got wrong. I cannot take them anywhere. BOL!

Once I have stopped blushing I will go back to see if I still get the almost nearly famous rock star treatment.

Talking of Seaton Delaval Hall. Remember when I reported of the potentially new hedgehog species I spotted on a previous visit?
Well I think they have started a breeding program as I saw some other smaller ones in a different part of the site.

I is always worth keeping your eyes open for wildlife when out walking your humans.
Nose bump to you
