Hi Pals,
My human started doing something really strange. Well I thought it was strange, but my other human seemed to not be concerned at all. My human has recently taken to rushing outside in the dark to take pictures without using a flash or anything. I am somewhat used to humans and their strange quirks, but this was just baffling me.

After several days, or nights, of doing this I did eventually find out what they were doing. Apparently it is possible to see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) here at the minute. Which would be nice to see as none of us have seen them before. However the main problem is that a lot of websites and social media that claim to give updates about the Aurora Borealis only actually give updates after it is possible to see them. I think it is getting to the stage that they need some sort of professional help to actually see the Aurora Borealis . BOL!

So if there is anyone out there that is involved in the study of the Aurora Borealis, or knows of a website that can give advanced notifications of when it is visible. Also if there are any photographers that know how to photograph the lights, please get in touch.


I am not sure if it is the change of weather or if it is just because I am getting older. I am about nine years old now and I am finding that after my longer adventures with my human I tend to sleep a lot more. If that is even possible for a lurcher. BOL! Plus I am getting a bit slower when getting up after my naps, especially first thing in the morning. My human has been adding more sardines and pilchards to my meals to try and help my joints, but I am still getting slower.


There seems to be a lot of chaos happening with social media at the minute. Which, as a small business, is a very frustrating time. On one paw small businesses need some form of social media to help to advertise their business to get noticed until visitors start visiting the businesses own website, if they are lucky enough to have their own website. On the other paw with the current chaos on social media it means that loads of potential visitors and customers are rushing around trying to work out which social media to go to and where their friends are going. So small businesses that have had such a hard time recently are falling further and further into the social media black hole.

I know I am not a huge business , but I do have a website where businesses can have a free listing.
I also have a forum which is very much under used. If visitors, groups and businesses would like to see more chat sections added to my forum. Let me know and I will get it set up.
