Tigger's Tails
- July 2024

Hi Pals,
Lat month I had an exciting meeting. One of the locations I visit frequently are organizing a celebration and part of that celebration they wanted to have photographs of a selection of frequent visitors. I was chosen and asked if I would like to have my photograph taken. I was so exited. At last, my almost nearly famous reputation is starting to get me noticed.

We arrived in plenty of time and had a brief chat with the photographer.

We then went into a room where it was relatively small and much to my human’s instantly elevated stress levels, there was a small forest of poles with lighting and cameras balanced on top. The photographer happily encouraged us to enter the room, blissfully unaware of the absolute devastation one lurcher on a lead could do to his expensive looking pop up forest. BOL!

Thankfully and much to my human’s relief we managed to get to where the photographer wanted us to stand , without any damage or incidents.
After a few pictures the photographer suggested if they closed the door, could I have my lead taken off me. My human said hopefully, yes, but were thinking that my escape would be the least of their problems with all of the aforementioned pop up forest around.

The door was closed and my lead was unclipped. That was when I did the totally unexpected….. I was a well behaved pup! I stood still and allowed pictures to be taken.
See pals, even after nine years, I can still surprise my human.

Just as the photo shoot was going great, the photographer asked my human if they could lift me up. They have lifted me up hundreds of times and I am totally unfazed by it.

That day however, it was not going to be a normal day. As my human lifted me up, I suddenly climbed up their side and ended up almost sitting on their shoulder like some sort of 22kg (48lb) hairy parrot. I decided not to look at my human, but to lean forward and stare at the photographer.

I don’t know if any of my pictures will be used or if they will all end up on the cutting room floor, but I would like to see some of the outtakes. BOL!

Until next month
Nose bump to you
