About the site:
Located around 5 miles south of Penarth town centre.
The park is open all year round for visitors to discover over 100 hectares of lakes, woodlands and meadows.

Facilities:
There has been a lot of work to try their best to ensure as much as possible is accessable for anyone with mobility problems.
Large free carpark with disabled spaces and coach bay.
There is a regular bus service which passes the main entrance to the country park.
The visitor centre has a gift shop, toilets, baby changing facilities, free wheelchair hire and nature trail / orienteering maps hire.
The cafe is open 9am to 5pm (longer in summer) and has a patio area.
The medieval village has free entry 10am to 12 noon. After that there is a charge for guided walks.
The lake can only be hired by water clubs registered with the Vale of Glamorgan Council.

Notes for our humans:
There are birds along the western lake.
Feeding the birds is permitted but please do not feed bread as it is not health for our feathered pals.
The visitor centre sells the correct food for the birds that will not harm them.
Horses are allowed along the bridleway.
Dogs must be on lead in the car park and around the east lake, but must be under proper control at all times.
Bicycles are allowed throughout the park.
Poop must be picked up as the Vale of Glamorgan issue fines for not clearing up.
Drones /radio controlled aircraft are not permitted in the park.
